Well, technically, my friend's playing it for the first time, while I watch and laugh as he dies constantly. He shot Baker, and Ocelot called him an idiot. I'd forgotten he did that! :D I'm looking forward to Psycho Mantis, though also wondering how tf that battle's going to work on a PC port. I'm still bitter that Mantis never cared about my DDR prowess...

BL gacha

I've been playing this BL gacha since it came out a month ago. It's not my first gacha but my first BL game, and I've been hit with nostalgia for classical yaoi. Self-lubricating asshole, no refractory period, this game has it all. It's really quite amusing.

Noctilucent? Heard some good things about the h-scenes in that game, but also that it's very buggy. I checked out the website when it first released but was extremely whelmed by the character designs and it's got annoying floaty Live2D animation everywhere. Am probably biased because I'm not big on gacha mechanics for husbando games in the first place, though.

I was hoping to leave this otome game behind in the last post, but unfortunately, my friends have remembered its existence and forced me to sit through both the good end (which was not good) and now, the Heads & Tails fandisk. I'm two hours into Ryoushi's route in the fandisk and contemplating developing an alternate personality to cope with how goddamn bored I am.

The most impressive thing about this game is how these writers have managed to write so much and yet say so little. The characters make small talk endlessly. We are treated to one plot development and then subjected to endless rehashes of the exact same point, combined with endless flashbacks of the exact same scene from every possible character's perspective. Sometimes we even get a fairy tale metaphor, just to make sure we didn't forget this is an otome game about fairy tales. I can't believe I still have another route to play through after this. I'm not even sure if this route is ever going to end.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who is having difficulty sleeping, and to no one else.

Anyone using retro handhelds? I managed to do Steam Link on my Anbernic so hopefully I can stream some of my less demanding games on it.

Really a fan of where the Chinese handheld market is going.

So I don't spam the other thread too hard...

Playing SCVI, character creation, because apparently we have it (when did we buy SCVI? No idea!).

So in this one, you have to use the fighting styles of the existing fighters (and no ring blade or tambourines, are you fucking kidding me?!!! D: FINE.). So I grudgingly make my OC and he's not supposed to be a fighter, he's a shopkeeper, so I want to give him a shit weapon that he's just found somewhere. I figure, okay, Seong Mi-na is probably the best choice; maybe I can customise her staff thing so it looks like a broom.

It works pretty well! I give the dude a fluffy brown broom/duster and go to try out my New Fighter and... Huh. Apparently Seong Mi-na's fighting style isn't just her weapon, it's all her mannerisms. This being a fighting game, these are all OTT hyper-feminine porny nonsense, and now this scruffy, unfit middleaged man is practically pole-dancing with the broom I gave him. It's the Hawkeye Initiative resurrected. I don't know where to look. Please stop fucking the broom; you're going to hurt yourself.
