Got sucked into a new virtual pet site recently because a part of me is still 12, and it's so funny how ridiculously entrenched genderwoo is within these communities.

There's no useful gameplay guides on the forums, but there is a pinned guide to the pronouns each of the NPCs uses. Your pets can be male, female, non-binary, or other. The clothing system is barely functional, but there are twenty-eight different pins for your pronouns and sexual orientation. For some reason there's two polyamorous flag pins, because one is never enough for poly folks.

Neopets community threatening to quit the website because the site renamed the 'General Discussion' board to 'General Neopets Discussion' so their one underpaid moderator can stop moderating constant catfights over genderwoo. Must be a day ending in a Y.

Their old database guy decided he was a woman because he had a crush on Trinity from the Matrix. Could be in for some extra drama if he shows up.
