Not seen much in the way of mites of late, but leaves have been dropping off my orange tree. From duckduckgoing around, looks like the issue mayyyy be that the roots are too cold; apparently orange trees don't like to be in direct sunlight if their roots aren't warm enough, and gardeners sometimes wrap the pots in fairy lights to warm them up. So I had a 0% chance of guessing that, and I'd been putting the plant out on warm days because I thought it would enjoy the sun. So... Guess it's back to staying indoors for a while. :S

Sounds like my jasmine, which dropped like half of its leaves in the last few weeks. I THINK it got too cold in the window, but honestly IDK. I'm considering chucking it.

I just can't get over how counter-intuitive it is. When I see a plant dropping leaves, the *last* thing I'm going to think is "Ah, a combination of cold roots and sunlight! Better put you in the shade to keep your leaves on!" How tf do people work this stuff out.
