A space to chat fandom! Anon!

Got a WIP you're excited about? Want to rave about your fave? Or is your fandom absolutely in love with a character who detracts from every scene they bumble into, and you need somewhere to vent? You're in the right place!

Every so often, I return to the question of how musical writers do their thing. Even with relatively simple things like:

"Captain Hammer here, hair blowing in the breeze. The day needs my saving expertise!"

How was this constructed? How did he think of it? Sometimes when I'm watching/reading things I can guess where they might have started and how they might have been developed,
but I'm always hopeless with comedy songs. How do you come up with a line like that? :P Is there a list "Things a hero does: hair blows in breeze; saves day; smiles; bashes things" and then rhymes are constructed around that, that try to link two or more items? Hmmmmm...

So currently, puzzling over that. Again.
