Some bastarding spidermites have discovered my orange tree. Am searching online for nuclear missiles to fix the problem.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck I hate spider mites! Good luck with the neem, it worked...okay? for me. But you have to keep spraying and not let them get reestablished.

They are the WORST. I hate how they go straight to the one bit of the plant you most want to preserve, the place where the fruit connects to the stem, (and same if they target a leaf, they don't just nibble at the edge, no, they target the fucking junction between the leaf and the stem so the whole leaf falls off +_+). And THEN they web everything up so it's gross. I'm trying to leave the plant outdoors a bit more; the plant probably caught the mites because of that but my hope is at least that way mayyyybe some other bugs can predate on the mites. The last time they struck, it was against indoor plants and they chomped through the lot juuust as the fruit came in. At least now I know that if I see one or two, I should show No Mercy or they'll have enough friends to fill up Wembley stadium in the space of a week.

I had them attack my beautiful birds nest fern and ended up just throwing the plant away because there was so much damage and I was too grossed out about the possibility of them infecting my other plants. ;__;

;_; Yeah, it's so sad! I had to throw away several chilli plants and a few pots of marigolds. I raised those chillis from seed and I didn't get to eat a single chilli because the spidermites devoured them and killed them all on the stem. I thought at least the mites were gone now, but NOPE. Seems like they just bide their time until I plant something they like to eat, and then they arrive, forks in hand.

Aaaaargh, thought I'd got rid of them, was admiring my orange tree, 'hm that's strange a lot of leaves have fallen off just into this part of the pot', looked closer, WEBS. They'd made a home in an area that was tough to spot, presumably because I'd neemd the rest. So just doused it in more neem oil . Trying to avoid catching the blossoms with it since I assume it'd soak the pollen and stop anything from getting fertilised...
