If I get one of those 'shake and rake' packs and shake, but do not rake, will anything grow? ie: if I just sprinkle seeds on a flowerbed and maybe later dust them with some new soil, rather than putting them in the earth properly... I mean, seeds plant themselves that way all the time, right? Nobody digs them bespoke holes in the forest (well, 'cept squirrels sometimes). So it should work, right? Maybe? =S

Well, tried it. Bit worried it's 99% sawdust. I can't see many seeds...

I panic-bought more seeds in case it *was* just sawdust. If nothing else, I'll... own a lot of seeds?

You'll need the extra seeds when the spider mites eat everything you've already planted, anon.
