Passed a poster encouraging people to stay in for lockdown, that made me laugh; it featured a photo of a man in a tracksuit with a quote along the lines of, "I love the game, and the banter after the game, but I know that staying at home is a worthwhile sacrifice we all have to make." I bet they didn't use that poster anywhere fancy. I love imagining the brainstorming meeting, though, like, "Common people, they won't care about statistics, so how do we get them to understand the importance of staying indoors? How do we remind them of the value of human life? They need to hear it from someone like them, someone... who loves football!" I dread to think what the female variant of the poster was like.
