Received a book as a present. It has David Tennant's face on the front, so I covered it with washi tape; I don't want that shit in my house. But I have discovered, in the process, that the tape is not opaque. The shadowy outline of his face is juuuust visible through it, looming out of the depths. It's very creepy.

Maybe it's time to make one of those book sleeves? I used to buy the stretchy ones for my textbooks when I was in middle school, although those aren't opaque either and you'll just have another layer for him to loom through.

Or you could use wrapping paper to make a book cover? I've done that and it's more opaque.
