Date: 2023-07-11 06:22 pm (UTC)I feel that there's a variant of this when people smugly assure themselves that no platforming isn't silencing so it's ok to not be content-agnosticism. Well yes and no. If you go around asking every platform you can to no platform someone, then there's no two ways about it: it's an organised attempt to silence.
It's not the same as IRL silencing but it's clear this is part of the connective tissue of civil society these days.
