and thinking that everyone knows the real recipes are in the supermarket magazines. They print actually easy, practical recipes that use food they sell.
And so I thought I’d go looking because I haven’t added anything new to my repertoire for a while. And I came across this madness

‘If your kids prefer cauliflower to broccoli, this works just as well for the base. Just make sure the ‘crumbs‘ are fully dried out. You can also swap the cheese alternative for houmous.’

Although this is at least more in the spirit of supermarket magazine recipes.

Though I wouldn't trust any recipe that recommended co-op produce, anyway, because ime they always sell food that's gone off.
(tbf, I have a cousin like the semi -mythical child described. His parents trained him from babyhood to prefer carrotsticks to sweets, and so on. It worked. But at what cost?)

I don't think of thyme as a fancy herb. But then it also mentioned asparagus in a can (?!), so maybe this is one of those Europe vs US things.
