Date: 2023-02-06 10:05 am (UTC)But yeah when you then complain about people calling you "out of touch" I confess I'm like "oh come on, you are tho". And that's with me agreeing on the whole that PP has used fash rhetoric and has got the notice of a fash audience. I don't think being out of touch with some people is such a terrible thing (or avoidable) but might as well acknowledge it. JCJ targets a more diffuse group (adult women); PP targets a more specific and motivated group (parents).
Suppose there needs to be a network of leftwing mothers, with similar political positioning to Rowling.
