Sitting on a bench in the dark, in shorts. Felt something on my leg, brushed it. Finger came away with blood on it. Too dark to tell if mine or insect's. Feared Lyme disease was on my horizon. Or malaria. Went over to very bright streetlamp. Color still not clear. Remembered phone torch. Yellow blood! Whew!

Though now I've washed it off, I'm second-guessing myself.
