I meant to stop my alarm, but pressed the snooze button by mistake. Then I accidentally fell asleep. So it woke me. Turns out if you make 2 mistakes, they do cancel out.

I feel like everything is finally coming together, and I’m glad but so tired. Maya, Sonia, Allison, the Tavistock: it’s all getting there, finally.

But then also, we always knew that a big part of the struggle was trying to make sure that when the bubble burst there would a soft landing and minimal backlash both for those who had been hurt by it, and against gay people and feminists and ‘non-conforming’ people in general. And I think the well-meaning normies who went along with things are coming around, but I don’t think they’re alive to this angle, yet. We need to be boosting the detransitioners, and the LGB Alliance, and however much it pains some people we need to be boosting the transitioned people who have been opposing this. And we need to be really clear about feminism having opposed and fought this from the start.

Like, Liz Truss could be an excellent thing, or she could really take us off the deep end.

Walked about 10 miles today, including a stretch that was around 7 miles without stopping. Kinda expected to get tired and need a break partway through, but turns out that distance is fine. (Flat ground, though!). Apparently fitter than I thought I was.

One of my fandoms is semi-dead but has occasional spates of life and I am so pleased that despite high susceptibility, none of this genderist garbage has taken over. Signing in to the group is like returning to how fandom used to be and I really appreciate that breath of fresh air!

I thought someone I actually liked had blocked me over gendershit. I was a bit sad about it. But no! It was someone else. Everyone I like is still there, and the only names I can think of that seem to be missing are 2 guys I never liked much, so I'm kinda glad they've deleted themselves. :)
