I feel like everything is finally coming together, and I’m glad but so tired. Maya, Sonia, Allison, the Tavistock: it’s all getting there, finally.

But then also, we always knew that a big part of the struggle was trying to make sure that when the bubble burst there would a soft landing and minimal backlash both for those who had been hurt by it, and against gay people and feminists and ‘non-conforming’ people in general. And I think the well-meaning normies who went along with things are coming around, but I don’t think they’re alive to this angle, yet. We need to be boosting the detransitioners, and the LGB Alliance, and however much it pains some people we need to be boosting the transitioned people who have been opposing this. And we need to be really clear about feminism having opposed and fought this from the start.

Like, Liz Truss could be an excellent thing, or she could really take us off the deep end.
