Date: 2021-07-05 04:24 pm (UTC)Yeah, I think it could be very similar to midgar in principle if it has a train (or similar) in the trunk that we don't see that spirals upwards. Though then it's weird that there'd be different doors... though nothing in that world makes sense really. :P The doors would suggest it had a bunch of lifts, though. Maybe like one of those ballpoint pens where you can push up tabs to make the ink different colours? XD Could there have been a fight in the ff7verse between rail-based architecture and lift-based architecture? I like the idea of writing a fic that's a treatise on it where something that isn't politicised in our world gets heavily politicised, so it's like reading old papers on how some artistic genre is the ultimate expression of some seemingly unrelated school of politics, and it comes across as totally nuts when encountered outside of its time and place.
