So far this book is "man stays in a new place for the evening, likes it, suddenly gets scared for no reason he can explain, repeat". I think it's a book that's supposed to be read when you're alone at a new hotel and not in your own house, and so I'm ruining it for myself. Ah well.

Finished. I didn't really get this one; the narrator's actions made no sense. His interior monologue was like:

"O no I seem to be haunted"

"this is horrible, I don't want to be haunted"

"yay, someone helped me and I don't feel haunted any more!"

"better go to this place that is totally cursed!"

"O no I seem to be haunted"

Like if you don't like being haunted, stop exploring strange places at night and wandering into tombs and *places that everyone is telling you are cursed*, istg
