I can recommend setting off for a 5 hour walk, getting lost, and making it an 8 hour walk. You basically can’t eat enough to make up those calories.

Exercise, you work out some of your psychodrama, and you can choose whether or not to risk a relationship with Bowie. What’s not to like?

On one very long walk, I did actually encounter a strange man who appeared from nowhere and engaged in polite but intense conversation indicating an interest in me, so I may well have met one of the Fair Folk. His trousers were not so tight, though.
