I can never find the energy to make loose leaf these days. I ordered some interesting ones a while ago, finished the nice ones and now I'm left with the weird odds and ends (and far too much lapsang souchong; I like it but only once in a while and I have enough to last yearrrrs), and they're too much effort for too little reward. I do miss my violet black tea sometimes, though, so might replace it eventually... and my almond tea... and my cherry tea... *sigh*

If you drink loose leaf Chinese grandpa-style (in a big mug/glass/bowl with the leaves loose, refilling with hot water every so often so it doesn't get bitter) then it's easy! I do like a gaiwan for my oolongs, though. I order everything from Upton Tea these days, which means I don't have to dither over different brands.

The linked tea looks good, seems basically like genmaicha and that's a classic for a reason.

Oh we used to do that with mint tea now that I think about it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maghrebi_mint_tea). Aldi has a surprisingly good good mint tea so I cheat with that these days. :P

Yeah, idk if it's high or low quality for the type, I think I just really like rice. I like ricemilk, too.

I mostly drink loose leaf black tea, and I just use one of the metal filters that you can fit in a mug, so it's fairly easy. However, after doing this for years, I have become too snobby for teabag-quality tea :'(

Ah, my laziness is pretty... well, impressive is the wrong word, but picture a pile of used teabags on a tray that gets emptied into the bin every few days because I don't want to walk across the room to the bin for teabag-removal purposes. Loose-leaf is too messy for that, plus I'd have to rinse the filter! So we have a gross Tea Corner Of Shame, but nothing seems to be living in it, so I figure it's fine.

Also in my defence it's quite a small tray
