I've never heard of a fake one, they're pretty cheap already. I got one but don't use it anymore...my finger works better, TBH.

Ah so I looked on amazon and there was a listing I saw like "make sure this product is sold by $company, or it's fake!", and then it wasn't sold by that company, but by somewhere called "fancysweety" instead. xD Though tbf I assume that even "fake" ones probably have the same parts.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure all those reviewers crying fakes just don't know how to use the meter, LOL. You're not supposed to use it on a freshly-watered plant, for instance. I bought the cheapest one on Amazon by a no-name brand and it works fine. :P

Hah, well, just ordered one. They all looked sketchy (every single one just had photoshopped pics of it in a plantpot, rather than an actual photo xD), so chose at random.
