Houseplants arrived! They actually look alright. The spider plant is a bit bashed, and the peace lily looks like something was feasting on it at some point, but they're all otherwise healthy and seem to have the right amount of water. Am surprised and pleased! Though they were packaged in a risky way and it's only chance I didn't cut into them when opening the box.

Spider plants will survive the nuclear apocalypse, so I wouldn't worry about that one, nonny. :P

Ah cool, it looked like the most fragile of the three but I know nothing about them, beyond the fact that I want to place it somewhere it doesn't cast a shadow of its silhouette just so I don't wake in the night and mistake it for Aragog.

Uh oh, mold grows super easily in my house! I think there are spores like permanently in the air, waiting for somewhere to settle. I gave a little water to a plant in one room and 2 DAYS LATER there was mold on the soil. And I think there is some mold growing inside some of my instruments; just a little bit but no idea how to get it out since anything liquid will damage them (apparently baking soda may help? planning to shake some around inside; worst comes to the worst then maybe my instruments will have cake babies XD)

Yeah I hear if you put baking soda in a double bass and shake it there's a 50% chance it'll give birth to a carrot cake shaped like a cello.
