I grew up in an old spidery house, too! Only mine also had cave crickets that came up from the basement and hid in the drains and I have TRAUMA. D: There are very few spiders where I live now, which is very appreciated, and I've had no increase in bug activity since beginning my mad plant collection a few years ago. Like I said, fungus gnats can be an issue when you're watering all the time in the summer, but mosquito dunks in the watering can pretty much solved that problem.

They're pale creepy crickets that jump like four feet in the air at you. DDDDD:

:0 I did end up looking up pics! They do look like spiders at a glance. I think they'd probably spook me in person, even before they started the acrobatics...
