Line breaks used to cause me so much grief in college. I was apparently the only Windows user in my entire class, so I'd randomly fail entire autograded homework assignments because there was a line break somewhere in the input or output. Finally figured it out and managed to argue my points back, but it gave me a good scare the first time it happened.
