Company sent out an email today saying 'we have received requests but PLEASE do not install the AI tool that stores your passwords in plaintext and allows random people to execute arbitrary malware on your computer.'

Who is asking for this? Why did anyone think this was a good idea?!

When an Agentic AI and a Corporate Endpoint Device Management Policy have a baby, this is the result. Suspect my own workplace will make a backdoor like this mandatory before they work out that it's a backdoor.
