Date: 2025-12-30 02:58 am (UTC)Tried Scottish Gaelic on a whim. Seems much like Irish, just with less intuitive spelling. And there's one guy in the mix of voices who sounds like a Prestonian who's snuck in. He is very confident and does not sound remotely Scottish. There's also an old woman who sounds Irish, but tbf she also sounds like she's been recorded on a shoe, so maybe her voice has been distorted.
Regardless, one of the first "food" words you learn is "IRN BRU". Hrm...
