Thanks! I'm sad I'm not gonna be able to mention a published short story in my query letter (published in small magazine; editorial team subsequently got very weird with their politics; I think associating with them would now actually be worse than looking like I've never had anything published, THANKS GUYS). My fault for not getting published in more places, I guess! I don't want to draw attention to my Ao3, either. So the letter will give no indication that complete strangers do actually enjoy my writing sometimes. Let's hope the manuscript stands on its own!
