Does "violent man" here refer to the guy who was stabbing people on a train to London, or is this another one?

(Ok, glancing around twitter, looks like 3 tras got arrested for being their usual authentic selves, so I assume this refers to them.)

Yeah, 3 makes sense. Twitter showed me one being arrested for attacking a broadcaster’s equipment (?), but there was more than one van screaming past me so more than one would make sense.

Although there was a man getting oddly agitated, and seeming to be trying to get people to engage, on my train home, so as soon as I could I moved away from him and so did everyone else. So when I then saw the stabbing story, I did have a little chill.
