Think my problem with cilantro is that I just don't see it as a spice. It's a vegetable! Mostly I use it for dumpling filling; in this recipe it's made into pesto, as a topping. Both of these feel more like vegetable roles than spice roles.

But I suppose I wouldn't eat a bowl of cilantro, either.

Have you had ground coriander? That's spice-shaped. Tastes completely different and is actually nice.
