Egg-sized volume of vodka, casual method:

1. Get egg
2. Look at egg
3. Pour that much vodka

Egg-sized volume of vodka, deluxe method:

1. Get egg
2. Get water
3. Measure water
4. Displace water with egg
5. Measure water again
6. Get difference
7. Pour that much vodka

(Potentially you use a (sliced?) olive for measuring the water)

Anyway, I laughed at it but I am an improv kind of cook and I roll my eyes so hard when people are like "how much salt is a pinch, exactly?" like there's suddenly going to be some specific measurement that maps to. I know baking is different, but who knows quantities of ingredients when cooking? You just put random amounts in and hope!
