Offered as a search-puzzle.

I read an article. I think it was on substack. It was called something like “understand him” and was about Elon Musk being a scifi fanboy who genuinely thinks he is racing against time to save the world; that Musk is good at running companies and thought he was desperately avoiding a debt spiral when he cancelled those government payments; that Musk has lost all ability to be a human because he has devoted all his brain to running companies and saving the world from scifi disaster.

It was illustrated with a picture of a walrus in a knitted sweater.

I closed the tab, and now it is lost forever. It had an analogy of throwing everything out of a plane to desperately try to get it to survive to the landing site, including throwing out everything that keeps you comfortable or lets you navigate, and then people keep trying to tell you to sit down, as an insight into what is going on in Musk’s head. It was quite vivid.

Haven't read it yet, but surely there can't be that many articles about Elon Musk illustrated with walruses in knit sweaters, right?

As a manatee, I am alarmed to see people in this thread complimenting purveyors of the widely discredited a-manatee-is-basically-a-walrus theory. We should have zero tolerance. I request that all threads are replaced with sea grass, immediately. 🌊
