(Muslims call other guys brother so if the characters are muslim they might say bro or bruv to their friends, and I think that use has spread a bit in areas with a big muslim population; I guess london guys occasionally call women "sis" but I don't think women call each other "sis". White working class guys might use bro but never heard them use bruv, again, not to their brothers.)
Talking about: always just brother or sister, ime.

Date: 2025-08-06 07:04 pm (UTC)Brits copy a lot of US slang, though, so you might get younger characters exclaiming "bruhhh!!" or something. But I think only wannabe-rappers would say bro or sis for their brother or sister.
