My friend has a horseriding injury from like 15 years back; it flared up this year and he was stuck hobbling around for a month. When he originally got injured, the stable had put him on a horse that wasn't his usual, was known to spook easily, and known to dislike guys. "Oh haha that horse does have a bit of a difficult personality!! <3" <- their response to it throwing him off, dragging him along the ground, smashing him against a metal barrier and breaking his leg.

He tried to get on one a year later, after the break had healed; got flashbacks; "hm, maybe not"; gave up riding. Horseriding injuries are nasty; idk why you'd risk putting a kid on a difficult one.

(as funny as I find it that he's posh enough to have a horseriding injury, I do think it's Some Bullshit that he got such a preventable horseriding injury)

Also i just can't get over how fucking dumb you'd have to be to lie about weight, for *riding* lessons.
