I'm trying to work out why they even did this. I assume it was for promo photos, but could they not just use a filter?

Could also use lead paint for the promo photos and then, I dunno... not feed them to the kids?

I'm guessing they were worried about the kids taking their own photos too, or something.

I assumed they didn't realise it could harm anyone, but it seems really odd to want preschool food to be Instagrammable in the first place. Like, round where I live, loads of restaurants went through a phase where they would put doughnuts on top of milkshakes and stuff, so ppl would photograph their food and tag it on social media, but those were restaurants. Who's picking a preschool based on the vibrancy of the lunch photos?
