Why did I always get kudos from COMMENT_ME_JAPANESE_TITS? Why did I never get kudos from Carl Gauss? What's a girl got to do to attract a studly mathematician to her principia-mathematica-omegaverse fanfic? I'd proved the number 4 at least twenty times! But no, Gauss and his cute flowery signature were nowhere to be seen! Just me, the Hell Hounds, and the stalwart tit-requester. Typical.

I thought the (nonhonorific) verb conjugations were okay, even fun, but there were just too many words and too many kanji. My brain felt like a packed suitcase you're trying to cram yet more items into, desperately and without a clear plan.

See, the kanji isn't the hard part for me. I think Japanese should just get rid of conjugations. And hiragana. And grammar. And kun'yomi readings. Perfect language, no more things for me to learn.

European languages have made me comfortable with conjugations. At least there aren't more than one past tense for no clear reason.

I will say for a language without grammatical gender it's _shockingly_ gendered. What do you mean it's uncouth for me to say words like うまい?!?
