Why did I always get kudos from COMMENT_ME_JAPANESE_TITS? Why did I never get kudos from Carl Gauss? What's a girl got to do to attract a studly mathematician to her principia-mathematica-omegaverse fanfic? I'd proved the number 4 at least twenty times! But no, Gauss and his cute flowery signature were nowhere to be seen! Just me, the Hell Hounds, and the stalwart tit-requester. Typical.

Having also never read Great Expectations, I pulled up Miss Havisham's Wikipedia page so I could help translate Mr. Willoughby's thoughts.

- She is a wealthy spinster.
--> JKR has lots of money, which she is not using to benefit me specifically (or men, in general).

- She was once jilted at the altar and insists on wearing her wedding dress for the rest of her life.
--> JKR divorced her first husband. Clearly she is very bitter about it and this informs all of her actions relating to and including men.

- She lives in a ruined mansion.
--> JKR owns a castle. Obviously the castle is horrible and nasty, because everything JKR touches is horrible and nasty.

- Dickens describes her as looking like "the witch of the place."
--> JKR is an ugly old hag, unlike me, the prettiest and freshest of maidens. uwu!

You are a skilled danslator! My familiarity was clouding my view. Havisham's *defining* motivation is that she was jilted at the altar, while JKR is happily married, so I was thrown by that. But I think you've cracked it.
