Saw this posted on HN. It's a solid corporate horror short story that hits some really nice notes of existential dread. Drags a bit - it's apparently 26k words? - but that might be intentional.

Comment section's what you'd expect out of HN, of course. My favorite is the guy who recommended the visual novel Secretary for anyone who wants more in this vein. Buddy, that's a porn game for dudes who like femdom and sissy hypno. These two things are not the same.

Thanks for that. The writing is a bit variable but when it's good it's good. :) I think it's the best description of the "going for a walk on the edge of a nervous breakdown" feeling I've read. The hn comments made me laugh a lot. Oh, STEM students. You can't read. Bless you all.
