One thing I did like from my description was:

I do do this! Or at least, I go:

"Stroooooke myyyyy heeeead!!!!"

"Stroke meeeee"

("I'm already stroking your head RIGHT NOW!")


I just really like being stroked on the head. ;_;

There was a Mumsnet post the other day from a woman complaining about a guy who was like this and who sulked when not stroked/scratched constantly, and all the replies were like "ew", "he's disgusting", "divorce divorce divorce", "why did you marry a cat"; I was there wailing like "they don't understaaaaaaand!" and showed it to my partner who started shaking with laughter. He found the many posts like "tell him he gets 10 minutes a week and THAT'S IT" and "ugh my hand would get so tired" very relatable. NOBODY UNDERSTANDS.

Is it just me, or was nowhere really putting much effort in for Valentine's day this year? Odd absence of pink tat in the shops. I had intended to grab a heart-shaped chocolate lolly of some sort from the supermarket; saw nothing. What gives?

Things seemed pretty normal this year, but I definitely felt like I saw more flowers than chocolate. So many flowers.
