Date: 2025-01-25 05:54 am (UTC)I was a bit surprised because while there's loads of kink stuff on the archive in general, I think that's the first news post I've seen that's gone on about kink tags in great detail, and I got a bit of a "Look I Am Cool I do SEX" vibe from it (and the genderstuff added to that performative vibe), but really dunno if I've just missed other similar posts. Not like I read them much. Just found it an odd level of detail; they syn and split canonical tags all the time, surely? Had a really bland title and then was all "Degradation! Mommy kink! Trans!" so I idly wondered if they'd gone and got themselves a fetishy volunteer who saw the news posts as his exhibitionist venue. May have read way too much into it. xD

Date: 2025-01-25 07:45 pm (UTC)Apparently it's sort of a new thing that they're posting tag wrangling changes, and specifically 'no fandom' canonical changes. From what I can tell they make changes to tags really, really slowly and often in very unpopular ways.
