Date: 2025-01-01 09:18 am (UTC)Idgi; it wasn't "halfway through the night"; they already told you they didn't want to spend the night with you; sometimes you're happy to spend 2 hours with a friend but not 8 hours; you're refusing to take hints and sound pretty clingy. Most mn commenters seem to think the friends were rude but it reads to me like op just refused to accept they were done for the night...
