Have discovered vim. Oh no! This is exactly my kind of rabbit hole.

(It's probably more useful for hobbyist than work projects but that doesn't mean I haven't used it a little at work today.)

I use vim loads, lol. It's useful in contexts where you don't have access to anything fancier; if you spend a lot of time sshing into things, it's handy. Iirc there's also a fun tutorial included.

Yeah, I used that tutorial to get started. It isn't as useful at work because of all the surrounding tooling, but it's definitely fun to play with on days when I feel like shaking things up and have a very self-contained task.
