As a barometer, I find that the measurement of atmospheric pressure is still remarkably free of gender ideology and hope that it will stay that way.

Okay, actual answer since I'm awake now and can't remember why I was roleplaying as a barometer at 3AM last night.

I've always been pretty laissez-faire about genderwoo. Consulting adults want to fuck around with their own body, whatever. Someone wants to change their name and how people refer to them, sure. I started off truscum/transmed, and I've never really been able to shake the belief that 'authentic' gender dysphoria is a mental illness that deserves grace, at least. Only thing that's really changed is that I realized most TIPs aren't mentally ill (gender dysphoric) but mentally ill (narcissists).

These days I'm mostly just tired. I'd like genderwoo to go away entirely, but I think the cat's out of the bag and we'll never truly recover from that. There's a lot of concessions I'd be willing to make as long as biological women as a class is preserved and children aren't being sucked into medical procedures.

Same energy. I'm despairing of genderwoo ever being eradicated. If you fundamentally can't see women as anything more than second class citizens, then you will always find some TIP story to place before women. Persuasion and argument can't get you to see what you can't see.
