Where I am, every combination of adjective exists! Not sure if he stayed mormon; he was an irritating person and we didn't stay in touch.

*not sure if he stayed mormon after he came out as gay, I mean. nobody was surprised when we heard on the grapevine he'd come out, but he wasn't openly gay at the time we knew him, whereas he was openly a mormon. however, inertia being what it is, and religion not being very popular or taken seriously here, I would personally guess he's still a gay mormon to this day.
