I'm being insanely inspired for this new-to-me fandom. Muse working overtime and all. I'm sure it's college finals stress that's contributing but damn. Whyyyyy. There won't be new content anymore :(

Nah, more that I'd been thinking of actually getting into the fandom but the amount of TRAs in there reminds me of exactly why I prefer to write rather than deal with these people :P

Ah, right, guess there might be more terfy corners of fandom now than there used to be (feel like it's a bit easier to be open about it?) so maybe you can find one somewhere, but that said my fandom's still shit so who knows

Yeah but not being able to actively participate in fandom isn't the worst. I will say my patience for hearing out headcanons and massaging egos has dropped quite a bit since then. I like fanart and good meta posts like anyone else but find the majority of fandom things more tiring nowadays.

True. I like hearing headcanons if they're interesting, but often I can tell that people are a lot more attached to their idea of this or that character than I am. They start getting into whether they're better friends with A or B and I'm like "I don't caaaaaare, they're not reeeeeal". Which feels like it isn't allowed. :P

Basically that ye. I'm ok with fun backstory or meaty headcanons (idk how to describe it sorry) but my eyes glaze at lengthy headcanon lists of their love lives or favourite sex positions.
