I've seen cooks use them in restaurants for making breakfast sandwiches. Seems they'd be convenient in that case, if you were frying a bunch every day and didn't want to worry about them spreading out too big for the bread while you did other things. Didn't know you could buy the rings for at-home use.

Also lol, what poor person would decide to ruin a knife every they want a tin of beans instead of buying a £4 can opener that lasts half a century.

Do not as I do and all that, since it's dangerous, but mostly I was confused at wtf the hammer was for. If you want to stab a tin with a knife you can just stab a tin with a knife freestyle. You *shouldn't*, but the hammer seems like it would make everything worse.
