"The thing about illegally breeding fire-breathing possums is that you gotta keep a bucket of water handy."

*Those fools! Fire-breathing possums are greasy; water will only feed the flames! Oh, if only I could tell them of my empire...*

One thing I hate about gender ideology is how no one agrees on what these words even mean. It's the same problem I have with BIPOC - sometimes it means black and indigenous people only, sometimes it means all people of color.

In my corner of the internet, preferred pronouns are what you're okay with being used for you. 'She/they' is often shorthand for 'I'm a woman who's in step with gender ideology, so I'm okay with you using either feminine or neutral pronouns for me.' You also see 'she/any' folks who consider themselves women but want to make it clear they won't get offended if you use other pronouns for them. By no means are any of these people non-binary - they're just Woman 2.0, the Cool and Tolerant Edition.

On the other hand, I've seen 'she/they' non-binaries who get annoyed because people always refer to them as 'she' instead of alternating between the two in equal measure, sometimes even in the same sentence. Then, you have people like the commenter above who apparently thinks that 'she/they' folks are female and non-binary at the same time. Wonder what they think of the 'he/they/it' twitterinas I see sometimes. Are those male, non-binary, and objects simultaneously? There's probably a made-up gender for that, too.

Of course, not all language has to be precise. The problem is that TRAs can't agree on what the hell they mean and then get offended when you don't know what they're talking about. It's like the whole thing's an excuse to play the victim.
