In today's episode, a married woman convinces her ex to accompany her to A&E after she cuts her finger on a jar, and spends the whole time cringily flirting with him while he doesn't seem very interested. I get the impression he is very used to getting called with tales of catastrophe that necessitate his presence, and treats it like a job.

In today's episode, a guy is stabbed five times after a gang break into his bedroom while he's sleeping, wake him, and demand, "where's the money?!". He claims they got the wrong address. He is obviously bullshitting, but his girlfriend believes him, and he's still alive for the post-hospital interview at the end of the episode, so presumably he turned his life around.

There's also an American alcoholic. Unlike British alcoholics, his drunk behaviour involves complimenting everybody.

And there's an old woman whose accent I really wanted the show to identify. But they didn't. I wanted to know if she was from Manchester or Leeds because I'm trying to get better at hearing the difference.
