I think most US dialects pronounce the g in ‘finger’ the way she says not to pronounce ‘singer’.

Date: 2022-12-09 02:17 am (UTC)Huh, defo no difference between the two in my accent! I just tried saying it a bunch, and although I sometimes said 'singer' closer to her way, I also said finger that way sometimes. I think on the whole I pronounce the g in both.
