Currently thinking about this fanfic I read a while back where the characters explore kinky sex, can't figure out how to use half the stuff they bought, turn down half the ideas because they're not practical, and eventually realize that they're perfectly fine with their lovingly vanilla sex life.

I think I've seen this plotline played out in another fandom before, but this is the one I'm thinking about. Popular ship in a relatively large fandom.
