Richard the fireman groaned. He'd always been a larger gentleman, and he'd known he'd been eating a lot of cream teas recently; his uniform had been getting tighter... but he'd never expected *this*.

"Where *are* you?" came the panicked shout from his colleagues.

"On fanspace! You'll never BELIEVE what they've been saying about me!"

Anyone have recommendations for relatively short or episodic series? Preferably something light or comedic that doesn't require too much attention. I'm looking for something I can watch in the background while I do some mind-numbing busywork, basically, so non-English shows (unless they're cdramas) are also out of the question.

Alternatively, I can just watch the entirety of Leverage for the fourth time.

Great British Bakeoff used to be my go-to background watching. Guessing you've already seen it but hey. Also watched aggretsuko for a bit, until friend decided it was stressing her out because it reminded her too much of work. Something like Friends or The Simpsons may also be good for that.
