But my niggle is, did she? It was very important that she do so, because if she had died before meeting Truss, Johnson would have used it as an excuse to stay. So did she actually, or only officially? Still images are much easier to mock up convincingly.

That made me look at the pics and tbf I thought she looked very ill in those. So I'd be more inclined to think there was a visit but she so ill at the time that they didn't film. Even then the pics might have been a composite. I don't think it's unreasonable to wonder about it, but I think even if someone found evidence a pic was doctored it wouldn't entail that they didn't meet in some form. Will be interesting to see if bojo tries to disseminate the idea, though I think it won't be much use now.

Thanks, Nona. I don’t think he’d try to deseminate it as an idea, but if events had gone that way he’d have loved to be the Prime Minister in the aftermath, get to be making the speeches and taking that role, and we really need him gone for this winter.
