I suspect it would be improved by the filing, at least I think reading without familiarity with the fandom would give someone a v different read on it and some things would seem much sillier (though some might seem less silly). I think some bits would be more boring, and some confusing; I pictured the filing as more than just filing but also explaining in-world entities a bit more (since there's context like "this place was at war with that place", and stuff that plays with different parties' descriptions of the same things.). Some jokes defo won't translate. I'm kinda curious how it would read, gotta say!
